Alba Vineyard & Winery

Built in 1805, this historic barn now houses our winery and tasting room, as well as the Musconetcong Art Gallery. Within the old stone walls, the aroma of fermenting and aging wine fills the air. Remarkable care was taken in converting the 190-year-old structure into a modern, efficient winemaking facility. The character of the limestone walls and old oak beam framing has not been lost with the installation of modern equipment; in fact, the new lighting system serves to reveal the inherent beauty of the stonework as never before. We feel that our winery reflects the area’s long-standing agricultural traditions, but with a new viticultural twist. Located in the oldest part of the building, our tasting room also serves as our showroom, where our complete selection of wines, produced here on the premises, is on display. You will also find that we carry a limited selection of wines from Windsor Vineyards, of California, for retail sale, as well as gift items and even a small array of fine cigars, to enjoy with our Vintage Port (but please no smoking indoors!) Complimentary tastings and tours are always available during our hours of operation; private tastings may also be arranged upon request. Adjoining the tasting room is the Musconetcong Gallery. Throughout the year, exhibits of artwork, from both prominent and emerging local artists is displayed, both on the main floor and in the upstairs balcony. Admission to the gallery is free, and all works are for sale. This room also houses the winter engagements of the Alba Concert Series, which throughout the year presents many types of music, from folk, to blues, to jazz. During warmer months, these concerts can take place just outside the gallery, beneath our grape arbor. Furthermore, both of these areas are available for your private gatherings or business meetings, at your request.
